Tantra is a non mental approach to sensual sexuality Because it is a spiritual connection it is also intimate which is what makes it so satisfying.

When you quiet your mind your physical sensations seem to be amplified because there no competition for your attention from the ego. Tantra is about energy and that needs to be the primary focus not the actual physical sex.

The Tantric energies heighten the physical experience and one must be careful not to let sexual habits dominate or take over because then the Tantric energy will decrease and your ego will most likely activate. You will still be having sex but the satisfaction and the intimacy will decrease and will probably feel like something is missing.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO GRASP IS THAT IT IS THE SPIRITUAL CONTACT THAT CREATES THE ORGASM NOT THE SEX

Surely you can recall an ejaculation without an orgasm and you most likely have had an orgasm without an ejaculation. Orgasm is a direct experience of your spirit that happens as you quiet your mind. It is not being created by the friction of your genitals or physical body.

Because of our cultural norms talking about sex and spirit together may be bit of a reach for some people. But that just points up the extremely narrow focus of western/ejaculation sex.

Sex is what we are born out of, sex is a big important part of life, our Sexuality is so much more then we suspect. It is literally our life energy and it is what keeps us alive, sustains our bodies, enlivens our spirit and frees us from the ego to soar on heights of ecstasy.

Spirit created our bodies, so it follows that spiritual energy can heal them

Love is an integral part of tantra but it is not romantic love or the conditional fear based love the ego uses true love is unconditional true unconditional love is what family is about but often it is not

In other words I love you no matter what you do or don't do. There are not a lot of role models for this type of love: Mother Teressa, the spiritual Masters in India, Buddha, demonstrated unconditional compassion.

Emotionally: sex is below love, love is in the middle and compassion is highest

Since tantra is not mental there is no judging, thinking, fantasying.

Tantra is not focused on ejaculation as the desired result.

Tantra is not about tension like western sex.

Tantra is difficult for people to understand because some people do not understand the concept of no ego or no mental activity. They assume if your mind is NOT active you are asleep.
